IN THE COMMUNITY

Giving Tree Gives Back

Giving Tree Gardens has a been giving back to the community since we opened our doors in 2005.  We’ve volunteered to host workshops, forums, community landscape tours, and to promote ecosystem friendly, permaculture based policies that help grow a healthier Minnesota.  We deeply value the communities across the twin cities and beyond that are working to promote land care practices that support human interaction with a healthy environment.

Our Mission is to grow health and community by restoring ecological function to each landscape we work in.  To have a much larger impact than our small business could on it’s own, Giving Tree Gardens is dedicated to engaging communities in partnership around solutions to the ecosystem problems we face.  We’ve worked for policies at the city and state to protect pollinators, expand community gardening, encourage composting, promote food access, and develop a more robust local food system.

We give back because we are honored and grateful to be a part of an amazing community of people all working to care for people, land, water, and wildlife. Together we can grow a healthier, happier planet.
